Beverly Hills

Beverly Hills

Overview

Tucked into the ridges and canyons of the west end of the Santa Monica Mountains and spilling out onto the flats is the most famous small town in Southern California, other than Hollywood. The town is completely surrounded by the city of Los Angeles. Known for the Hollywood movie stars who live there and for Rodeo Drive and the upscale shopping, Beverly Hills actually is a delightful place to live.

The City of Stars

Besides the chance of seeing a star in person, the town is blessed with the glorious Southern California weather, sunshine and mild temperatures. The beaches are not far away and the hiking and biking trails in the mountains are lovely, especially the trails around Franklin Canyon Lake.

The public schools rank high in both the state and the country. And despite the glitz and glamour, Beverly Hills is a small town at heart. The population is only 34,000, but this town is active. Art shows and film festivals, music concerts and spas, even scavenger hunts provide fun and entertainment for everyone, including those with family – and of course those without. Believe it. You could call Beverly Hills home.
